Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. PetChipHub uses a small number of essential cookies to work, and analytics cookies only if you allow them.
Essential cookies (always on)
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| phub_sid | Keeps your session while you register, pay or use your account, and protects forms against forgery. | Until you close your browser |
| phub_auth | Keeps you logged in on this device. It's signed and stops working if you change your password. | Up to 1 year, or until you log out |
| Stripe cookies | Set by our payment processor on the payment page to process payments securely and prevent fraud. | See Stripe's cookie policy |
We also store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage, so we don't ask you again.
Analytics cookies (optional)
If you choose Accept analytics, and analytics is enabled on the site, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use PetChipHub, such as which pages are viewed. IP addresses are anonymized. These cookies are never set unless you opt in.
Changing your choice
Use Cookie settings (also in the footer) to change your choice at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop login and payments from working.
